Tubes play a special role in these many different applications and products. Highly accurate production methods and special materials are necessary to meet the tough requirements of this sector.
To do so, our processing machines make it possible to form with accuracy, also when the tube walls are thin and made of high- and ultrahigh-strength materials, like titanium and stainless steel. Microsurgery and endoscopy are some of the areas where these tubes can be used. Out t form forming machines are particularly popular in this case, with their axial forming and rollforming capabilities.
With the axial technique it is possible to produce very accurate symmetrical and asymmetrical forming. The tube rollforming also offers benefits for special productions; it is tool-independent and can be used with great efficacy. Our transfluid® machines reduce the necessary tubes partially or over a long distance, with the so-called incremental forming often opening up new possibilities. The axial and rolling methods both offer outstanding accuracy, which guarantees good results, in particular with tubes with a relatively small external diameter. The diameter can go from less than 1mm to just under 12mm.
Customized tubes for rehabilitation and care
Tubes with large diameters, which are often produced in fairly large numbers, are used in the production of healthcare aids to improve the quality of life and the recovery. The same requirements apply in this case as for high-tech equipment, but the prerequisites are different. The focus is now on the tube and profile processing and the high-value results, which are used in individually adapted aids, auxiliary and lifting devices, examination tools, frames for beds and other equipment.
We make this possible with a selection of machine series, which bend the pre-cut tube and form the ends. These machines can operate as stand-alone or connected, equipped with the necessary automation. A completely automated process is also possible, where the CAD data is transferred online to the machine, giving a highly flexible production.
The right solution with flexible bending
Different materials are processed for medical care, above all high-strength materials, like in the areas of emergency care and recovery. These special materials are particularly important in this case, so that the rehabilitation products can be adapted to the specific needs of the patient. This is particularly clear in the manufacturing of wheelchairs: some manufacturers offer many helpful additional functions and custom sizes.
In this case the optimized processing of tube is possible with our t bend 630 CNC clockwise and anti-clockwise bending machine. With the flexible and fast change of tools it is possible to execute individually adjusted bending, with high-quality results and small bending radii.
